So, Obama has extended benefits to same sex partners and domestic partners of federal employees. And everyone keeps trying to tell us that domestic partnership gives us the same rights as marriage... So what's in a word? Evidently full medical coverage for one since it isn't included for ss/dp but must be for married couples otherwise why list it as an exception. Oh, and of course it also does not apply to the military. Not even civilian employees of the military? I wonder...
